Meet the Makers at Latarnia Guest House
Latarnia Guest House is excited to announce four Meet the Maker Dinners!
We are offering 4 separate dinners; each provides the unique opportunity to converse, interact and dine with a renowned local Maker over a multi-course dinner featuring their product. Each of the 4 dinners will feature a different Maker.
These dinners will be prepared by Joseph in our open concept kitchen so you can watch as menu items come together.
You will learn the history of their family and their business, hear of the passion they have for their product, what got them into their business and learn about future products over a multi-course dinner with appropriate wines.
The fee is $95 per person for each dinner.
You may sign up for just one dinner or as many dinners as you wish.
About the Makers

In this multi-course dinner, we will cook with and serve wines from Vernon Vineyards. The Pedretti Family Vineyard was established in 2002 when John J Pedretti planted a few thousand grape vines on 39 ridge-top acres seven miles northwest of Viroqua in Wisconsin's Driftless Area. (Town of Jefferson, Vernon County)
Just a couple of miles away Bob Starks and Loren Cade opened the first winery in Vernon County on Irish Ridge (Dahl Road) in the summer of 2006 and named it Vernon Vineyards. In 2012, John J Pedretti purchased the retail and winery portions of Vernon Vineyards and relocated his newly acquired retail venture to an all new Tasting Room at S3426 Peterson Lane, right next to his vineyard and Pedretti's Party Barn, at the intersection of County Road Y and Peterson Lane in Viroqua.
